Within EU projects, we support consortia with the custom development of IT applications for the mobility & logistics sector, organisation and evaluation of pilot activities, communication & dissemination of project activities and results and successful exploitation and go-to-market strategies and IPR management of outcomes.
With its headquarters in Estonia and offices in Belgium, Spain, the company has been involved in more than nine EU-funded R&D projects since it’s foundation 10 years ago and has strong partnerships and collaborations across Europe and internationally.
Contribution to the BIOntier Project
As part of the BIOntier consortium, Etelätär Innovation is leading the Work Package on dissemination, exploitation, and communication, acting as a driver of sustainable practices within the supply chain. ETE oversees the exploitation and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) activities, ensuring market readiness, maximising the commercialisation of bio-based technologies, and developing business models that enable the real market uptake of new materials across the different target industries (automotive, aviation, water treatment, hydrogen).
ETE is helping the BIOntier consortium also in defining and establishing clear, measurable, and sustainable standards for selecting and working with suppliers whose goals align with the environmental and social objectives of the project along the entire supply chain. We contribute with the socio-economic perspective to the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework of the project and also define the economic requirements for the further technical developments.
In the coming months, ETE will work closely with end-users, playing a key role in evaluating the feasibility and scalability of the solutions developed within BIOntier. Together with UNN, the scientific coordinator of the project, we will conduct an economies of scale analysis and contribute to the LCCA study of each use case to validate the viability and impact of market deployment.
